This article shows how you can request more hotel rooms than normally available.
Once you have decided which location is most appropriate for your team, and the location has a button that says "Hold Rooms" rather than "Select room", it is because there are no rooms available for immediate blocking/reserving or not enough rooms available on all nights selected.
This means you will need to submit a request a Room Block Request for all rooms required to accommodate you or your team.
If you need one more room or more rooms, please follow the steps below to submit a room block request.
Submitting a Room Block Request
In the photo, you'll see the number of rooms you selected is more than the available rooms. The message below shows what will be instantly booked versus what's being requested.
When making a room block request, you can add a name, include comments, and provide your email so you're notified once the hotel responds.
Confirmation of Your Room Block Request
After submitting a Room Block Request, you will receive an email confirming that your request was submitted to the hotel for review.
The Hotel Will Respond to your Request
Please know we are unable to guarantee the hotel will be able to accommodate you, however the typical response time to hear back regarding the request submitted is 3-5 business days.
Once the hotel responds, you will receive an email with a status update. Please ensure to keep an eye on your Junk/Spam folders.
The hotel can approve, decline or counter-offer your request:
APPROVED - If your Room Block Request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email.
COUNTER OFFER - If the Hotel responds to your Room Block Request with a counter-offer, we will send you a notification email. From the email, click on the My Holds / Requests link to review the offer.
DECLINED - If your request has been declined, you will receive a notification email that includes a link to your event's hotel feed to view other tournament hotel options.
