This article outlines the Event Setup tab and the process needed to set up a new event.

Event Customization
This tab covers all messaging and branding on your event pages and emails to registered teams. You can always view what your messaging looks like by copying and pasting the Registration Link from the "Quick Links" in the top right corner of the page or clicking "Preview" next to the email sections.
Registration Page
- Logo: Add a logo for your event or association by uploading a photo
- Header Image: Add a header/background image for your registration page by uploading a photo
- Description: Add event details and additional information by building tabs - be sure to hit save!
System Messaging
- Approved/Pending/Waitlisted Registration Email: Based on the status of the registered team, you have the ability to customize the email they receive from the system. The most common information we see added is a welcome message and the next steps teams need to take (add roster, book hotels, purchase tickets)
- Next Steps Email: Follows a couple minutes after the "Approved Registration Email" and contains their team booking link. The most common information we see added is sponsorship information, partnerships, and hotel information.
- Reservation Receipt Messaging: This message is sent once an individual has booked a reservation through EventConnect. The most common information we see added is a thank you message and sponsorship information.
- Hotel Feed Messaging: This is the short message that appears in the top right corner of the hotel feed. The most common information we see added is our support team information.
- Be sure to hit save at the bottom of this section!!!
Team Introduction Modal
This modal meets your teams once they have registered and land on their team dashboard. We recommend adding a welcome message and the actions that teams need to take on their team dashboard to be prepared for the event! Be sure to hit save! Examples include:
- Hotel Accommodations
- Purchase Merchandise/Tickets
- Complete Payment if not Fully Paid
- Add Players/Coaches to Roster
