Event Surveys and Registration Questions
This tab covers all potential surveys you can request your teams and players to complete in order to have all the information you need before they attend the event. It will outline how to create and manage your surveys.
Create a Custom Survey
- Click "Create a New Survey in the top right corner of the page under the menu bar.
- In the pop-up window, enter the name of the survey and the survey type - then hit save!
- Registration - Questions are asked during initial registration and must be completed
- Group - Questions are asked at the team dashboard after registration
- Player - Questions are asked during player registration to a team and must be completed
- Volunteer/Referee - Questions are asked during volunteer/referee registration and must be completed
- Division - Questions are asked at the team dashboard based on the division the team registered in to
- Management - Questions are asked at the team dashboard only to team managers and coaches
- Sport Type - Questions are asked at the team dashboard based on the sport the team registered in to
Create Custom Questions
- Click "Add a Question" on the right hand side of the page - the button will always be beneath all of your custom questions as the survey grows!
- Select the Question Type and Label it with what you are asking for
- Text Field - Open short answer
- Dropdown - Options shown from a drop down menu
- Textarea - Open long answer
- File Upload - Allows user to upload a file from their computer (ex. photo ID, roster)
- Header - Header text to separate sections of survey - no answer asked
- Checkboxes - Lists multiple answers for users to pick and choose from
- Radio Buttons - Lists multiple answers for users to select one
- Date - Opens up calendar for users to select specific date
- State/Province Selector - Opens up list of states/provinces for users to select from
- Content/HTML - Text space to copy and paste information that users need to read (ex. waiver)
- Toggle on "required" if the user needs to answer this question to complete the survey
- Be sure to hit save!
Manage Custom Questions and Set Survey Live
- You can edit questions by clicking the pencil when hovering over the question you would like to edit
- You can delete questions by clicking the garbage can when hovering over the question you would like to delete
- You can move questions by clicking the multi-directional arrow when hovering over the question you would like to move
You can set your survey live by clicking the pencil beside the survey name on the left hand side of the screen. Then, change the status from Draft to Approved - this must be done for the survey to show up for registrants!
Import Custom Surveys
- You can import surveys from other events by clicking "Import Surveys" to the right of the create button. Then, select the questions you want from a dropdown list of events!
- Open and edit these surveys by clicking on their names - Remember to set these surveys live!
