This article will walk you through how to set up coupons or discounts for your event.
Step #1 - Event Setup - Financials
On your Event Owner Dashboard, select Event Setup from the navigation menu. This will reveal a sub-navigation menu from which to select Reservation Report.
Step #2 - Creating A Coupon
On the Financials page, scroll down to the Registration Coupons section. Here you will have the option to add and modify discounts for your registrants. First, select Enable Coupons1 to enable the input fields. Next, give your coupon a name and a code2 to provide to registrants. You can set your discount type3 to percentage or dollar value. Select Apply when user has a reservation4 to take effect only after a user has made a hotel reservation. Select Create Coupon5 to save the coupon.
Step #3 - Multi-Registration Discounts
Multi-Registration Discounts are a versatile and effective way to create discounts for team owners who are registering more than one team of a specific sport type to your event.
Coupons can be a great incentive to prompt teams to take action. For example, by implementing a discount coupon for early-bird registration, you can excite members to sign up well before cutoff dates, thereby obtaining more accurate registration statistics for your upcoming event.
